After a long summer break, schools in Bihar will be reopening their doors to students tomorrow. The state government has announced the schedule and opening day details, as well as safety protocols to ensure the safety of students. Here’s a closer look at what to expect when schools open in Bihar.

Bihar School Reopening

Bihar is one of the first states to announce the reopening of schools after the long summer break. The state government has decided to reopen the schools and colleges from tomorrow, August 1, 2020. This is in line with the directives of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to open schools across the country.

Summer Vacation Ends

The summer vacation for schools in Bihar has officially come to an end. Students have been on vacation since June 15 and have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of schools. The state government has now officially announced the reopening of schools and colleges for the new academic session.

School Schedule Announced

The state government has announced the schedule for the reopening of schools. All schools in Bihar will start the academic session from August 1, 2020. The classes will be held in two shifts, with one shift for primary classes and the other for secondary classes.

Opening Day Details

The opening day for schools in Bihar will be on August 1, 2020. Schools will open from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for primary classes, and from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm for secondary classes. All students are required to wear masks and maintain social distance while attending classes.

Safety Protocols in Place

The state government has also put in place safety protocols for the reopening of schools. This includes mandatory temperature checks for all students and staff members, regular sanitization of classrooms, and strict adherence to social distancing norms. Schools have also been directed to provide hand sanitizers and masks to all students and staff members.

What to Expect

Students can expect to attend regular classes and lectures, as well as extra-curricular activities. Schools have also been instructed to provide online classes, in case of any disruption due to the pandemic. The state government has also announced that all schools will be graded according to their compliance with safety protocols.
