Swachh Survekshan Awards 2021 Indore Became The Cleanest City In The Country For The Fifth Time In A Row Varanasi Got This Title

Indore in Madhya Pradesh has been declared the cleanest city of India for the fifth consecutive year in the 2021 Swachh Survekshan Awards. Varanasi, in Uttar Pradesh, was the first runner-up in the same category. This year, the evaluation of cities for cleanliness was conducted on the basis of a new set of criteria. The awards acknowledge the efforts made by the cities in achieving higher levels of cleanliness and sanitation.

Indore: Five-Time Cleanest City

Indore in Madhya Pradesh has been declared the cleanest city for the fifth time in a row in the 2021 Swachh Survekshan Awards. This is an incredible feat for the city, which was able to maintain its top position despite the new criteria and competition from other cities. Indore was also awarded the title of the cleanest city in the previous four years.
