Afghanistan News: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with a delegation of leaders from Afghanistan. He said that our ultimate aim is a peaceful, united, democratic, stable and prosperous Afghanistan. He said that the international community should stay in touch with Afghanistan. It also stressed that Pakistan will continue its cooperation in the effort to bring a political solution to the war-torn neighboring country. Several senior Afghan leaders arrived in Pakistan on Sunday to attend a meeting on their country’s future as the Taliban seized the Afghan capital and President Ashraf Ghani left the country. Pakistan’s representative for Afghanistan, Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq, tweeted that he received the Afghan delegation at the Islamabad airport.
