London. England has postponed its tour of Bangladesh for the six-match series till March 2023. The tour was to be held in September and October this year. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Tuesday that it and the Bangladesh Cricket Board had mutually agreed to finalize the new schedule of the tour.
Three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals are to be played in this tour. Although no reason was given in the statement for postponing the tour, but according to the English media, the decision was taken due to the isolation protocol related to Kovid-19. England’s top players are currently preparing for the first Test against India starting at Trent Bridge on Wednesday.
