Barmer. A horrific incident of kidnapping and gang rape has come to light in Sindhari police station area of Barmer district of western Rajasthan. Here the poor kidnapped a married woman going on a bike with her husband along with her husband. Later, the accused raped the woman one by one in front of her husband. On getting information about the incident, there was a stir in the police department. Taking quick action, the police have arrested three accused. The car used in the kidnapping has also been recovered. Search is on for the fourth accused. The police is busy investigating the whole matter seriously.
Barmer Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma said that the incident took place on the state highway in Sindhari police station area of Barmer on Tuesday. A woman along with her husband was going from Balotra to Barmer via Sindhari on a bike. During this, four people in the car stopped him in the middle of the way. After beating up the woman’s husband, they took both of them in the car. After that a young man fled with a bike.
Gang-raped in a car by taking it to a deserted place
The other three people went to the deserted place and carried out the incident of raping the woman in front of her husband in turn. After committing the crime, the accused fled leaving the victim and her husband there. On receiving the information, different teams of Barmer police chased and nabbed the three accused.
The accused are residents of Kamthai in Sindhri area.
According to Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma, taking prompt action on the basis of the report of the victim, the statement of the married woman has been registered after getting her medical done. Within a few hours, the police arrested the three accused named. The arrested accused include Chunaram, Babulal and Naresh alias Nenaram. These accused are residents of Kamthai in Sindhari area. The accused are being closely interrogated.
