Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): Muzaffarnagar The car of a BJP MLA was attacked by people who were allegedly opposing the agricultural laws in Mumbai. Budhana assembly constituency MLA Umesh Malik was on his way to attend an event in Sisauli village on Saturday when mud and black paint was thrown at his car. The windows of the car were also broken.
Malik has alleged that the farmer leader was behind the incident. Rakesh Tikait hands of supporters. Police case has been registered. A police spokesperson said the incident took place when the MLAs had reached the village for an event. The policemen present on the spot saved the MLA.

After the incident, BJP supporters gathered at the local police station and demanded action against those responsible. After the incident, Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan also reached the police station.
Rakesh Tikait’s elder brother Naresh Tikait has expressed surprise over the attack and denied allegations that his men were involved in the incident. Meanwhile, videos of the incident are being widely shared on social media. In one of them, the MLA is seen saying that the attackers were associated with Rakesh Tikait’s Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU).
