New Delhi: The cases of corona virus infection may have decreased across the country, but for some time, the outbreak of corona virus is increasing rapidly in Kerala. Meanwhile, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has made a big announcement regarding the corona vaccination program.

While issuing the order, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has said that now the work of corona vaccination will continue in the state even on the day of the holiday. Apart from this, giving priority to pregnant women and people with more than two diseases, it has been said that corona vaccine should be applied.

According to the information shared by the Chief Minister’s Office, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has directed to conduct vaccination campaign on holidays and give priority to pregnant women and people with comorbidities.
Half of Kerala’s population received first dose of vaccine
Let us tell that half of the population has been successfully given the first dose of corona vaccine. According to the information, a total of 1 crore 78 lakh 88 thousand 20 people have been given the first dose of corona vaccine in the state. At the same time, it is more than 50 percent of the estimated 3.54 crore population of the state. At present, 2 crore 46 lakh 23 thousand 953 doses have been given so far in the state, out of which 1.78 crore people have been given the first dose and 67 lakh people have been given the second dose.
