New Delhi: More than 19 crore 33 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given in India so far. According to the Union Health Ministry, 19,33,72,819 vaccine doses have been given in the country, including the first and second doses. At the same time, the first dose has been given to 92,97,532 people in the age group of 18 to 44 years. At the same time, the first dose has been given to 11,65,95,717 people above 45 years and the second dose to 2,78,73,971 people.

Apart from this, the first and 1,81,89,676 second doses have been given to 5,63,83,760 people above 60 years of age. 6,02,11,957 people aged 45 to 60 years have been given the first dose and 96,84,295 people have been given the second dose of corona vaccine. At the same time, 92,97,532 people aged 18 to 44 have received the first vaccine dose.
The nationwide vaccination campaign was launched on 16 January and the vaccination of frontline workers began on 2 February. The next phase of corona vaccination started from March 1, in which people over 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age who had serious illness started their vaccination. At the same time, vaccination was started from April 1 to everyone over the age of 45 years. And from May 1, vaccination of people between 18 and 44 years started.
