Covid-19 Vaccination India: PM Modi said – India is proud of its largest vaccination program in the world

New Delhi: The whole country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence today amidst the second wave of deadly corona virus. During this, while addressing the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the Corona crisis period and thanked the health workers and doctors of the country. PM Modi said that India is proud of its largest vaccination program in the world and more than 54 crore people have already got the vaccine for Covid-19.

PM appreciates people involved in vaccine manufacturing in the country

Addressing the nation, PM Modi said, “We can proudly say that the world’s largest Covid-19 vaccination program is going on in India. More than 54 crore people have already been vaccinated in the country.” PM Modi also appreciated the people involved in vaccine manufacturing in the country and said that India did not have to depend on the outside world for anti-coronavirus vaccines.

He also spoke about the creation of the digital platform ‘CoWIN App’

PM Modi said, “We have to ensure that we fulfill our goal of building a self-reliant India by the completion of 100 years of India’s independence”. The contribution of the same is also appreciated. The Prime Minister also outlined the creation of the ‘CoWin App’, a digital platform that has attracted the attention of the world.

Talking about providing free ration to 80 crore people during the pandemic, he said that it has shocked the world and it has become a topic of discussion. Modi also called for steps to be taken to bridge the life gap in villages and cities.
