The central government is preparing to give 1 crore vaccine doses every day from August. For this, orders for 100 crore vaccine doses have also been placed this month. This decision has been taken to speed up the supply of vaccine in the country. At present, 30 lakh doses of the vaccine are being given every day. According to media reports, the next target of the government is to give one crore doses per day. For this, a new policy has also been made regarding vaccination. Giving information on Tuesday, NITI Aayog member VK Paul said that from August the vaccination supply will be further intensified.
Paul said, “The government has ordered 44 crore vaccines to Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute. This vaccine will be supplied between August and December.” He further said that pre-orders of the vaccine will be given to the companies to complete the vaccination for the age group of 18-44 years. In this, the quota of private hospitals is 25 percent. In such a situation, an order of 22 crore vaccine doses is expected to be placed for this group.
PM Modi gave this big information
Recently, while addressing the nation, PM Modi said, “25 percent of the vaccine being made in the country, private sector hospitals can take it directly, this system will continue. Private hospital, after the fixed price of the vaccine, a maximum of 150 on a dose.” Service charge will be charged only in rupees. The work of monitoring it will be with the state governments. PM Modi said that more than 23 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country.
Due to the continuous effort and hard work that the country has been doing for a long time, the supply of vaccine is going to increase even more in the coming days. Today 7 companies in the country are producing different types of vaccines. Trial of three more vaccines is also going on in the advanced stage. To increase the availability of the vaccine, the purchase of vaccines from foreign companies has been expedited.
