Delhi University: So far more than 1 lakh students have registered for UG courses in Delhi University

Many states including CBSE have released the 12th result, along with this the registration process for admission in UG courses in Delhi University has also started. According to official figures, more than 1.10 lakh students have registered for undergraduate courses on the admission portal of Delhi University so far.

Registration process for UG courses will end on August 31

The registration process for about 70,000 seats in UG courses in DU will end on August 31. Till 7 pm on Thursday, 1 lakh 10 thousand 494 candidates had registered on the portal for UG courses, while 87 thousand 912 for PG courses and 12 thousand 539 for M.Phil and PhD courses.

DU also organized its first virtual ‘Open Day’ on Thursday

The university also organized its first virtual ‘open day’ on Thursday. Where the officials answered the questions of the students and asked them to be careful while filling the form as they will not be able to edit it in the later stage.

Sanjeev Singh, Director, Delhi University Computer Center said, “Please be careful while choosing a category. It is not necessary to fill the form in one go. You have enough time to fill the form. There is a separate tab for the entrance exam, and you can choose the courses you are applying for, be careful while selecting ECA and sports category.”

Students asked questions to officials about various boards

The officials were also asked questions by the students about the various boards recognized by the university. Professor Anand Sonkar said, “We recognize all the boards which are recognized by the University Grants Commission, Council of School Education Boards in India (COBSE) and Ministry of Education. You can check whether your board is acceptable on the COBSE portal Whether or not he also said that the information bulletin contains grade conversion for IB and Cambridge University.
