Delhi University has laid the foundation stone of its new Regional Center (West) of the School of Open Learning (SOL) at Keshav Puram on 19th July. At the same time, the new DU SOL has started 16 off-beat and unconventional certificate courses for class 12th pass out students which include film making, graphic design, stenography, ethical hacking etc.
The inauguration of SOL West Delhi Center was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. PC Joshi and Dr. Vikas Gupta (Registrar), in which Prof. Balram Pani (Director, Col.) and Prof. US Pandey (Principal, SOL) among others. Notably, SOL also has an existing Regional Center at Moti Bagh (South Campus) which also shares the academic and administrative load of the main SOL (North Campus) .
DU offers 16 new certificate courses
The host institution, Campus of Open Learning (COL, University of Delhi), along with its existing industry training partner, RK Educational Trust, has added 16 more certificate courses to its portfolio, which will be offered both online and offline from the academic year 2021-22. will be done.

Eligibility Criteria for 16 Certificate Courses
12th pass out candidates can apply for admission in these courses. Students who successfully complete these courses will be given a certificate from DU.
