Social media website Twitter’s mistakes started, now it is coming to 1 month. First there was talk of taking money for Twitter Blue Tick, when scams came to light in the name of Blue Tick, Twitter banned it. Then it was talked about that it will be presented in a new way by the end of November. But the matter did not work out here either. Now Twitter owner Elon Musk has announced to stop the Blue Tick scheme for the time being. At the same time, Musk is going to bring blue ticks of different colors.

Now ‘Tick’ will be available in many colors

Twitter’s new boss Elon Musk has said that plans to redesign the social media company’s verified badge, known as the ‘blue tick’, have been put on hold for the time being. He said that different colors can be used to authenticate different organizations and individuals.

8 dollar plan put on hold

After acquiring Twitter for $44 billion, Musk had said that Blue Tick would be available for a monthly fee of US $8. This verification badge authenticates a user or organization on Twitter. Musk tweeted on Monday, “Plans to introduce a new way of blue ticks are being put on hold until there is confidence in stopping fake accounts.” Perhaps different colors will be used for organizations than for individuals.

Concerns were raised about their initial plan for Blue Ticks that users could create fake accounts, and present themselves as political leaders, parliamentarians, news organizations and buy verified badges. In such a situation, there will be a possibility of spreading misleading information.

New record made in the middle of mistake

Musk also tweeted that Twitter added 1.6 million daily active users last week, a record. In another tweet, he said, “Hope all preachers stay on other platforms – please, I humbly request you.” He then wrote, “Namaste.”
