Covid-19 Vaccine: So far 50 crore 86 lakh vaccine doses have been given under corona vaccination in India. For corona vaccination in the country, the central government has given more than 52 crore 40 lakh vaccine doses to the states, out of which 50 crore 51 lakh have been given, while the states and union territories have 2 crore 35 lakh vaccine doses left. .
According to the Union Health Ministry, 50,86,64,759 doses have been given till 9 am on August 9, out of which 39,56,67,593 have been given the first dose. While 11,29,97,166 people have been given both the doses.
Talking about the distribution of vaccine, till 9 am on August 9-

- 23.5 percent of people above 60 years got the vaccine.

- 32.8 percent of people above 45 to 59 years got the vaccine.

- 43.7 percent of people above 18 to 44 years got the vaccine.
Corona vaccination has gained some momentum in India now. According to the Union Health Ministry-

- 100 million doses of the vaccine took 85 days.

- 10 to 20 crore doses were taken in 45 days.

- 20 to 30 crore doses were taken in 29 days.
-
- 30 to 40 crore doses were taken in 24 days.

- And 50 crore vaccinations took only 20 days.
So far vaccination in different age groups has been like this-
Healthcare worker-

- 1,03,32,881 healthcare workers have received the first dose.

- Both doses have been given to 79,82,037 healthcare workers.

- 1,82,17,136 frontline workers were given the first dose and
-
- 1,17,58,909 healthcare workers have received both the doses.
Age group-

- In the age group of 18 to 44, 17,67,66,853 people got the first dose. At the same time 1,20,24,776 people have got both the doses.

- In the age group of 45 to 59, 11,18,71,679 people have received both the first and 4,26,95,084 doses.

- 7,84,79,044 people above 60 years of age have received the first dose and 3,85,36,360 people have received both the doses.
Five states Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have given more than one crore vaccine doses of corona vaccine in the age group of 18-44 years.
It is worth noting that for the nationwide corona vaccination, the central government has given a total of 52,40,60,890 vaccine doses free of cost to the states and union territories so far. Out of this, the states have given 50,51,29,252 vaccine doses so far and 2,33,55,890 vaccine doses are left. At the same time, 8,39,780 vaccine doses will be given to the states soon.
