Foreign citizens will now be able to register for the Corona vaccine on the CoWin app. The special thing is that they will now be able to enter their passport in the photo ID asked for registration on this application.
In the information given on Thursday by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it has been told that now the process of accepting passports in the photo ID room on the CoWin app has been started to vaccinate foreign nationals. In such a situation, this step taken to get these people also vaccinated will prevent the spread of corona as well as protect foreign citizens from corona.
To get the Kovid-19 vaccine, foreign nationals living in India will have to first register on the CoWin portal. If they do not have Aadhar card, they can register on this portal using their passport. From now on, passport has been validated as an identity document for registration on the CoWIN portal. When they get registered on this portal, they will be allotted a slot for vaccination.
On behalf of the ministry, it has been said that a campaign is going on across the country to provide corona vaccine to all the people above 18 years of age in the country. So far, more than 52 crore people have received the first dose of Corona’s vaccine. In such a situation, this step is effective to defeat Corona.
