Actually, according to a market research firm, the iPhone SE (2022) may come with 5G connectivity in the first quarter of 2022. The successor to Apple’s iPhone SE (2020) model will reportedly come equipped with Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, which offers better connectivity and battery life than the previous model. The smartphone is expected to feature a similar display to the iPhone SE (2020) with Touch ID buttons and larger bezels. While previous reports have also hinted at a redesigned iPhone SE model, it is not expected to arrive before 2023.

A report by research firm Trendforce suggests that Apple will launch the third generation of its iPhone SE smartphone in the first quarter of 2022. This prediction is in line with previous reports that said that the iPhone SE (222) may arrive in the spring of next year.

What will be special in the iPhone SE (2022) (likely)

The company can give its latest iPhone SE model the same treatment as the old model, that is, the same old design can be seen in the iPhone SE (2022), but it will be equipped with Apple’s 5nm A15 Bionic chipset (which is in the iPhone 13 series). This will make it the company’s first affordable 5G-enabled model. You may recall that the A15 Bionic chipset is currently Apple’s fastest mobile chip with a hexa-core SoC with two high-performance cores and two efficiency cores. At the same time, the 4G enabled iPhone SE (2020) sports a 7nm A13 Bionic chipset which was in the iPhone 11 series.

Work continues on iPhone SE with bigger display too!

The iPhone SE (2022) is said to have the same design as the current iPhone SE (2020) model, with a nearly identical design to the older iPhone 8. This suggests that the next iPhone SE model may feature Apple’s Touch ID on the physical home button, larger bezels at the top and bottom, and a 4.7-inch display. These specifications are in line with the predictions of Apple market analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Previous reports also suggest that Apple may be working on an iPhone SE model with a larger display. But according to reports, this model is not likely to come before 2023.
