The new Hyundai Ionic 6 is to be brought in the coming months, something the company is going to introduce soon. In such a situation, the company has released the teaser of the new Hyundai Ionic 6, in which it is called an electrified streamliner which indicates its design. It will be built on the company’s e-GMP platform, with many features and equipment expected to be similar to the Ionic 5.

Let us tell you that in the past, streamliners were called high-speed trains whose design was kept streamline for easy passage of air. The new Hyundai Ionic 6 will be given a streamline design as seen in the teaser. Design assumes greater importance in electric vehicles as it helps in improving the range.

The all-new Hyundai Ionic 6 will be built on the Prophecy concept which comes with a stunning exterior. This is going to be Hyundai’s second global electric model, before the Ionic 5 of the Ionic series. The sedan will get the same battery and powertrain, so the range is expected to change slightly.

The new Hyundai Ionic 6 can be brought by the end of 2022. The company is also going to bring it to the Indian market and it can be brought next year. The company is currently selling the Ionic 5 and it has received a great response, so the company is going to assemble it in India itself.

Explain that the word Ioniq is formed by combining “ion” and “unique”. The term was announced as a long-term research and development project focusing on sustainable mobility. The Hyundai Ionic 5 is built on Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).

Hyundai had earlier revealed that it will launch the Hyundai Ioniq 6 in 2022 and the Hyundai Ioniq 7 in 2023 in global markets as part of its future plans. The company has also revealed some preliminary information about the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The car is said to be powered by a 3.5 kW Lithium Ion battery that can provide a range of 100 km in just 5 minutes of charge.

High end audio speaker and music system will be given for entertainment in this car. This car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5 seconds. The car will offer a range of 450 km on a single charge. Hyundai had earlier announced that the company would sell one million electric cars in the global market by 2025.

Globally, the car is offered with two battery options, 58 kWh and 72.6 kWh, offering a range of up to 480 km. Its base version comes with a single electric motor, which makes 165 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. The dual-motor version makes 298 bhp power and 605 Nm torque.
