Dubai: Indian captain Virat Kohli is ranked fifth in the ICC Test Batsmen’s Rankings while Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant are at joint sixth position. Devon Conway, who scored a double century in the first Test for New Zealand, is ranked 77th while captain Kane Williamson is at the top. Conway scored 200 runs in 347 balls in the first Test against England.
Rohit and Pant got the advantage
Kohli, who captained India in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand from June 18, is in fifth place with 814 points. England captain Joe Root is one notch above him. Pant (Rishabh Pant) and Rohit (Rohit Sharma) have moved up a place to the sixth position and both have 747 points.
Jadeja in second place
In the ranking of Test bowlers, Indian off-spinner R Ashwin is at second place with 850 points. Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins is on top with 908 points. Ashwin is the only Indian in the top ten.
West Indies’ Jason Holder continues to top the all-rounders’ rankings. India’s Ravindra Jadeja is second and Ashwin is in fourth place. Ravindra Jadeja has benefited in this ranking. He finished second, leaving behind Ben Stokes. Jadeja has 386 points. At the same time, Ben Stokes is at number three with 385 points.
