IND Vs NZ: Team India starts practice for the final, BCCI releases video

IND Vs NZ: The final match of the World Test Championship is to be played between India and New Zealand in Southampton, England from 18 June. Team India practiced in the group for the first time before the final at the ground adjacent to the Aegeus Bowl here on Thursday. Indian players reached England on June 3 to play the final match.

The Indian Cricket Board has posted a short video of the practice session on Twitter. BCCI wrote,  “We practiced in the group for the first time and everyone was excited. Indian team’s preparations for the WTC final are going on in full swing.”

Players spent full time in the nets and players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant batted for enough time. The bowlers also sweated profusely. All the main bowlers Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin participated in the practice session. After the net practice session, fielding coach R Sridhar made the players practice catches.
