In the election year, land law was becoming a constant issue in the state. The Congress party had already cleared its line on this issue by announcing the implementation of concrete land laws as soon as the government came. Now the announcement of the Chief Minister has also stamped on it. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami made three more big announcements on Independence Day. CM announced to start Sunderlal Bahuguna Prakriti Puraskar from next year in the name of environmentalist Late Sunderlal Bahuguna. Noted environmentalist Sunderlal Bahuguna passed away recently. The Aam Aadmi Party put his picture in the Delhi Assembly and also raised the demand for giving Bharat Ratna to Bahuguna.
