Dehradun. The campaign going on on social media regarding land law seems to be quite successful. On the occasion of Independence Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, stating the need for a solid land law in Uttarakhand, has announced the formation of a high power committee for this. This committee will submit the report to the government after considering all the aspects. In the election year, land law was becoming a constant issue in the state. The Congress party had already cleared its line on this issue by announcing the implementation of concrete land laws as soon as the government came. Now the announcement of the Chief Minister has also stamped on it. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami made three more big announcements on Independence Day. CM announced to start Sunderlal Bahuguna Prakriti Puraskar from next year in the name of environmentalist Late Sunderlal Bahuguna. Noted environmentalist Sunderlal Bahuguna passed away recently. The Aam Aadmi Party put his picture in the Delhi Assembly and also raised the demand for giving Bharat Ratna to Bahuguna. This move of the Delhi government was also seen as a strategy for AAP to establish a foothold in Uttarakhand. Due to this, a kind of moral pressure was created on the Uttarakhand government. The announcement of the award in the name of Bahuguna is being linked to this.
Supporting the award of Padma Shri to famous folk singer Narendra Singh Negi, the Chief Minister said that the state government has sent the recommendation of his name to the Centre. Narendra Singh Negi is a famous folk singer of Uttarakhand. From the Uttarakhand movement to the social, political issues of Uttarakhand as well as the suffering of the common man, he has threaded his songs with great detail. The demand for the Padma Shri award to Negi has been rising for a long time.
The Chief Minister had recently announced the formation of a High Power Committee on the issue of Devasthanam Board, one of the biggest controversial issues in the state. The Chief Minister announced that the command of the High Power Committee has been handed over to senior BJP leader Manohar Kant Dhyani. Dhyani will submit his report to the government after talking to all the parties. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced to give free mobile tablets to all the high school and intermediate students of the state in view of the importance of online studies during the Kovid period.
