IPL 2021: josh hazlewood to play for csk, ceo confirms
Star Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood will be a part of MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the second phase of IPL 2021. The first leg was played in India in April and May. But due to the infiltration of coronavirus in the bio bubble of the franchises, the season had to be stopped midway.
Now in the second phase of IPL 2021, the remaining 31 matches of the season will be played in the UAE from September 19. It is worth noting that the team’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will be a part of the second phase and this information has been given by the CEO of the franchise, Kasi Viswanathan himself.
It is worth noting that Hazlewood withdrew his name from IPL 2021, in whose place Jason Behrendorff was included in the team. However, he did not get a chance in any match and the season was postponed only a day after he joined the team.
Recently Hjelwuz has given a good run on tours for his national team. Now they would like to repeat this form in the UAE as well. He was part of the limited over series of West Indies and Bangladesh. Hazlewood took eight wickets in the four-match T20I series against Bangladesh. Then he also took four wickets in four T20 matches against the Windies.
