Let us tell you that your journey will start from Mumbai. This tour package has been provided by IRCTC and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. The journey in this tour will start on 25 and 26 September. Passengers will be made to travel from Mumbai to Srinagar by Indigo flight.
Itinerary – Mumbai – Srinagar – Gulmarg – Sonmarg – Pahalgam – Mumbai
Day 01- Mumbai to Srinagar
You will reach Srinagar from Mumbai. On the first day you will be taken to visit Shankaracharya temple. Apart from this, you will have to check in the house vote, after that you can take rest in the afternoon and in the evening you can ride shikara in Dal Lake. After this, after having dinner, you will get to stay in the housevote overnight.
Day 02 – Srinagar – Pahalgam
After breakfast early in the morning, leave for Pahalgam after Pahalmag. One can also visit Avantipura ruins, Betab valley, Aru valley and Chandanwadi on the way. Apart from this, you can also enjoy the natural attractions of the valley. Apart from this, you can roam here for sightseeing and can also take a pony ride. On the second day at night you will have to stay here and there will be food facility.
Day 03 – Pahalgam-Gulmarg-Srinagar
After breakfast you will proceed to Gulmarg. You will be taken around by road transport. Here you will be able to do the local sightseeing of Gulmarg by Gondola Ride, Meadow of Flowers. After this you will have to return back to Srinagar from here. Dinner and accommodation will be arranged in the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 04 – Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast leave Srinagar and go towards Sonmarg. Sonmarg (2800 m above sea level), which means ‘Golden Meadow’, has snowy mountains here. Ponies can be hired from here to visit Thajiwas Glacier during the summer months. After roaming here for a whole day, you have to return to Srinagar again. Dinner and stay will be arranged in Srinagar.
Day 05 – Srinagar
After breakfast, you can visit the Mughal Gardens. One can also visit Nishat Bagh, Cheshmashhi and Shalimar Garden. After this visit the famous Hazratbal shrine situated on the banks of Dal Lake. You can shop from here in the evening. After this, arrangements will be made for food and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 06 – Departure for Mumbai
After breakfast, check out from the hotel comfortably in the morning and in the evening at 17:35 you will have a flight from Srinagar airport. It will drop you at Mumbai airport by 20:25 in the night.
