ISRO came forward in battle against Covid-19, created indigenous oxygen concentrator

ISRO is continuously playing its part in the fight against Covid of the country. Now Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) of Indian Space Research Organization has made Medical Oxygen Concentrator. Which has been named “Breathing”. Which will provide more than 95% oxygen to the rich level of oxygen to the patient who is on oxygen support.

By inhaling oxygen concentrator pressure swing adsorption created by ISRO, the nitrogen gas from the air will be increased and the amount of oxygen will be provided to the patients. It is capable of delivering around 10 liters of oxygen within one minute. With which two patients can be treated at the same time.

ISRO has constantly come forward to help the country in this epidemic. Earlier, in addition to in-house medical technology, liquid oxygen was sent to the country by a huge tax. This concentrator made by ISRO is of 600 W power which will run at a voltage of 220 V / 50 Hz. In which oxygen concentration will be more than 82% to 95%. There is also an audible alarm for flow rate and low purity or low or high level purity. The weight of this oxygen concentrator made by ISRO is about 44 kg which will display oxygen concentration, pressure and flow rate.
