Jammu: Terrorists attacked BJP leader’s house with a grenade last evening in Rajouri, Jammu. A three-and-a-half-month-old baby died in this attack. The name of the child is Veer Singh who was the nephew of BJP leader Jasbir Singh. Apart from this, four people have also been injured in the blast.
Last evening, the Khandali area of Rajouri in Jammu was shaken by the sound of a grenade blast. The blast turned the life of BJP leader Jasbir Singh’s family 180 degrees in one stroke. BJP’s Rajouri Mandal head Jasbir Singh was sitting with his entire family when the terrorists targeted him and attacked him with a grenade. Four family members were injured in the grenade attack, while BJP leader Jasbir Singh’s three-and-a-half-month-old innocent nephew Veer Singh died.
Accused of not getting security even after complaint
This is not the first time that terrorists have targeted a BJP leader. Two days ago, in Anantnag too, the Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his wife and his wife, associated with the BJP, were murdered. Now, just before August 15, questions are being raised about the attack on the BJP leader in Rajouri, Jammu. The family alleges that threats of attack were being received but no action was taken.
Before August 15, when high alert has been declared in the entire valley and tight security arrangements are in place, the grenade attack raises questions. Amidst all the claims of security, the truth is that the terrorists took the life of an innocent who had not even landed on the ground from the mother’s lap.
