Sahibganj: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday made an aerial tour of the flood-affected areas here and said that all possible help will be provided by the government to the flood-affected areas. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is fully committed to the safety of the people affected by the floods. The Chief Minister was addressing the people in Sahibganj district after the aerial survey at the football ground of Barhait block for inauguration of various schemes and laying the foundation stones and distribution of assets.
Relief material work continues for the affected people- Soren
Soren said that the government is working diligently for basic facilities like supply of food items to the people affected by the floods, their transfer to a safe place, providing them medical facilities. Along with this, arrangements are also being made to bring the cattle to a safe place and their fodder.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 35 schemes and inaugurated various schemes for Sahibganj district. Rural Development Minister Alamgi Alam, Rajmahal MP Vijay Hansda, Borio MLA Lobin Hembram were also present in the program.
