Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) is conducting computer based written examination for recruitment to more than 1200 posts from 17th August to 24th August. The exam will be conducted at various exam centers in Jammu, Srinagar, Budgam and Baramulla. The admit cards of all the candidates who have registered for the exam have been issued. Candidates can check and download their hall tickets by visiting the official website jkssb.nic.in.

JKSSB will recruit 1444 posts in the Department of Health and Medical Education through this recruitment drive. More than two lakh candidates have applied for these posts notified on March 26.
Candidates should not become a victim of anti-social elements
The Board has also requested the candidates not to fall prey to anti-social elements. The Board has issued a statement informing the candidates that, “However, it has come to the notice of the Board that some unscrupulous elements/vested interests are trying to exploit innocent youth. Passes are approaching them with the intention of duping them using various deceptive means, which include making false promises of securing jobs by either using influence or unfair means or spreading false ideas and mischievous information. The candidates who are being approached by such unscrupulous elements in any matter relating to the recruitment of JKSSB are advised to immediately report such persons to JKSSB without any delay.”
