JugJugg Jeeyo Box Office Day 4 collection : The spectacular collection on the weekend of the family entertainment film ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, directed by Raj Mehta, made the filmmakers happy. Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Manish Paul starrer film has been released in about 3 thousand 375 screens across the country. The business of the fourth day of the film, which grossed superbly in the weekend, was not encouraging.
‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ did not collect as expected on the first day of release but managed to earn handsomely on Saturday and Sunday. According to the collection of the first 3 days of release, the film made it to the top 5 films of this year. But the filmmakers got a setback at the box office on Monday. According to media reports, 70 percent collection was less as compared to Sunday.
Huge drop in ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ collection
There was a huge drop in the collection of the fourth day of ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, which did a business of 36.93 crores in the opening weekend. On the fourth day i.e. Monday, the film was able to collect 4.80 crores, while it earned 15.10 crores on Sunday. The Punjabi tadka of the film is being liked in Delhi-NCR but the collection of the film was affected in other states of the country.
Disappointed with Monday Collection
Considered to be the biggest family entertainer film of this year, ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ has failed to compete with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. ‘Kashmir Files’ still holds the record for highest earning on the first Monday of release. The film had earned Rs 15.05 crore on the first Monday, while Kartik Aaryan starrer film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ earned Rs 10.75 crore. In third place is Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which collected 8.19 crores on Monday before its release.
The film’s director Raj Mehta had told in an interview to the media that ‘the poor performance of Hindi films has increased the nervousness about the film’s release. Every week new theory is coming out that what kind of film will work or what kind of film will not work.
