Krunal Pandya returned home after defeating Kovid-19, was isolated in Sri Lanka

New Delhi. Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya has fully recovered from the corona virus epidemic and has returned home from the tour of Sri Lanka. Pandya was hit by Covid-19 during the Indian team’s tour of Sri Lanka and his test report came positive. Many other cricketers who were in close contact with him were also quarantined in view of the danger. Now Pandya has returned home after defeating this virus and recovering completely.

According to the report of BDcrictime, Krunal has now returned to his house. He did not return home with the Indian team as he was isolated in Sri Lanka itself. This incident happened after the first T20 match. India had won the first match of the T20 series and looked strong enough to beat the Sri Lankan team in the series. However, this was not possible. After Kunal’s test report came positive, many other players who came in contact with him were also isolated.

The Indian team took this step as a precaution. However, this led to a situation where India had only five frontline batsmen left. Later, India had to face defeat in the last two matches of the T20 series. Meanwhile, it was also reported that the test reports of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gautam were also found positive. Later both of them were also kept in isolation in Sri Lanka. Apart from these two, Prithvi Shaw, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya were also in isolation.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gautam are still in Sri Lanka and are awaiting the negative report of the RT-PCR test. According to reports, all-rounder Krunal has left the hotel where he was staying. It is told that he left the Mount Lavinia Hotel on Wednesday morning and went to catch a flight to India. Talking about Chahal and Gautam, both the players have to undergo RT-PCR test on Thursday. Only if their test report remains negative will they be allowed to return to India.
