In such a situation, the party seems worried to improve the popularity of PM Modi.
It was only after returning to power in the year 2019 that the government took two major decisions in the first two years. These include the abolition of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya. The government is facing attacks from the opposition on the issue of Covid-19. This is the first time since coming to power in 2014 that PM Modi’s government is facing criticism on many issues. These include management of Covid-19, rising prices and new agricultural laws.
