New Delhi: The Modi government has made a big announcement regarding the children who were orphaned due to corona virus. The government has planned to provide free health insurance for children who lost their parents due to corona virus. These children will be given free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh from the government. This information was given by the Union Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur through his Twitter handle. 

According to the information given by the Union Minister, “Children who have lost their parents or guardians due to corona infection will get free health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme by the Modi government. The premium of this insurance will be paid from the PM Care Fund.

Keeping in mind the health care of these children orphaned due to corona virus, this scheme has been announced by the central government. Under the health insurance scheme, children up to the age of 18 years will get free treatment. This expenditure can be up to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh.

 

 

The Modi government is giving this protection to these children under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children Act).
