There is going to be a massive recruitment in the education department of Assam. In fact, the Assam government has announced that the recruitment process will be started soon on a total of 22 thousand 921 vacant posts in the Education Department. Out of the total posts, 10 thousand posts will be filled in primary education or primary education and rest of the posts will be filled in secondary education. Several decisions have been taken by the Assam government during the weekly cabinet meeting, including appointments in the education department.

Informing about the decision of the weekly cabinet meeting on social media, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “The decisions taken in our weekly cabinet meeting today will bring relief to the Gorkha community, ensure land rights of indigenous people, Bodos in education department, Major recruitment drive will start including appointment in Garo and Hindi medium etc.”

Recruitment process in Education Department will start from September 1
According to the announcement made by the Assam government, the recruitment process for more than 22 thousand vacant posts in the Education Department or Education Department will start from September 1, 2021. Along with this, the government has also decided to conduct Special Teacher Eligibility Test or TET for the recruitment of 1 thousand 464 posts reserved for ST (Hills) in the Education Department. Special TET for recruitment in Bodo, Garo and Manipuri Medium also. Notification will be issued soon by the government regarding these recruitments going to be held in the education department of Assam state.
