NVS Recruitment 2022: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released bumper recruitment for the posts of TGT, PGT, Principal and other teachers. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has issued notification ( Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Recruitment Notification 2022 ) on its official website navodaya.gov.in for recruitment to a total of 1616 posts. Of these, 683 vacancies are for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), 397 for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and 12 for Principal.
Apart from this, 181 vacancies are for Miscellaneous Teachers (Music, Art, PET Male, PET Female and Librarian). All interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting navodaya.gov.in. The applications have started from 2nd July today and the last date is 22nd July 2022.
The exam date will be announced later. NVS will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) across the country for the recruitment. Candidates passed in the test will be called for interview round.

Position and Qualification
Principal –
PG with at least 50% marks. BEd.
Experience –
15 years experience as PGT.
PGT –
2 years PG Integrated course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks or Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks. B.Ed degree.
TGT –
4 years integrated degree course with at least 50% marks (in both the concerned subject and aggregate). either
Bachelor’s Honors degree with at least 50% marks (in both the concerned subject and aggregate). Should have studied the relevant subject for all the three years of the degree course. either
Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (in both the concerned subject and aggregate). Should have studied the relevant subject for all the three years of the degree course.
Note: For all TGTs it is necessary to pass CTET. BEd degree required. Know how to teach in both Hindi and English languages.
Music Teacher –
5 Years Study in Music Institute OR Graduation with Music OR 10+2 with Sangeet Visharad Exam.
Art Teacher –
12th and 4 years Diploma in any discipline of Art in the form of Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts OR 10th and 5 years Diploma in any discipline of Art such as Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts OR Degree in Fine Art.
PET –
B.P.Ed
Librarian –
Bachelor Degree in Library Science OR Graduation with 1 Year Diploma.
