OnePlus 10R has started receiving OxygenOS 12 A.03 as its first software update in India since its launch. The update optimizes the compatibility of OTG connections and includes a series of upgrades along with the usual bug fixes. The update brings improvements to certain scenarios such as power-consumption optimization.
The OnePlus 10R has received an improved rear camera experience and is said to fix a recurring issue with the smartphone’s Always-On Display feature. OnePlus 10R was launched in India last week. The handset comes with features like 120Hz dynamic refresh rate display and MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset.
According to an official post on the OnePlus forum, the OnePlus 10R handset is getting the update with firmware version CPH2411_11.A.03 in India.
What’s special in the new update
– Update size is approximately 200MB and includes new fixes for known vulnerabilities. The latest OxygenOS update brings system improvements like optimized compatibility of OTG connection and power-consumption.
– This update provides a solution for an issue that caused interruptions when connecting a smartphone to a computer to transfer large files.
– The OnePlus 10R gets a fix for the erratic screen brightness issue on Always-on display mode previously reported by users.
– OnePlus has also provided some rear camera improvements in the OnePlus 10R by optimizing the clarity of portrait photos taken with the previous main rear camera. The software update also bundles system stability improvements.
How to check if update is found or not
The update is being rolled out in a phased manner and will automatically reach over the air to all eligible OnePlus 10R units. Eager users can manually check for updates by going to Settings -> System -> System updates. Users are advised to update their OnePlus 10R unit when the smartphone is connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal and is charging.

The phone was launched in India last week in two versions, starting at Rs 38,999. It features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The handset has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor as its main camera.
