OnePlus, Realme and Asus announced: The fastest processor will be available in these phones; List

OnePlus, Realme, and Asus have announced the launch of smartphones equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, just a day before Qualcomm launched this flagship chipset. Asus is bringing the ROG Phone 6 gaming smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, while OnePlus’ handset with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is set to hit the markets in the third quarter of the current year. Realme has also announced that its GT2 Master Explorer Edition will be the first handset to sport the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Notably, several other manufacturers have announced the use of the new Qualcomm chipset, but these are the first few to reveal concrete plans.

OnePlus did not reveal the name of the handset
OnePlus in a post on Weibo has teased an upcoming smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset on its official Weibo page. Although the company has not revealed the name of the handset, OnePlus has said that the smartphone will hit the market in the third quarter of 2022.

Realme will bring GT2 Master Explorer Edition
The Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. In fact, Realme has also claimed in its Weibo post that the flagship smartphone will be the first Android mobile to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ processor. The official launch date of the handset has not been announced yet.

This powerful processor will be available in ROG Phone 6 series
And finally, Taiwanese electronics giant Asus has also confirmed that the ROG Phone 6 series, which will be launched as a Tencent variant in the Chinese market, will feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in both Chinese and global variants. The ROG brand has also made the announcement on its official Instagram page where it has stated that the ROG Phone 6 will be the first gaming smartphone to sport the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Earlier this year, 2D renders of the ROG Phone 6 series were leaked. The design of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6 series was shown to be similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5 series.

That’s why the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip is special
Qualcomm recently launched Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipsets as its latest mobile platforms. Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is capable of delivering 10 percent faster CPU performance and 30 percent better power efficiency than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. As we mentioned, apart from OnePlus, Realme and Asus, several other manufacturers have announced that they will launch smartphones with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, including Black Shark, Honor, iQoo, Lenovo, Motorola, Nubia, Oppo, Redmi , Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
