Patna: Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey on Thursday inspected the Covid Hospital being built in a part of the highly specialized Eye Hospital located at Rajendra Nagar in the capital Patna. During this, he instructed the officials present there to start 24-hour hospital service. During this, Minister Pandey inquired from the Civil Surgeon Vibha Kumari of Patna on the spot about the availability of doctors, para medical staff and other personnel for the hospital and gave necessary guidelines regarding patients and their families.
84 beds will be oxygen rich
Mangal Pandey of the inspection interacted with journalists, in which he said that a decision has been taken by the state government to free vaccination of people between 18 and 45 years of age, for which the necessary action was taken to purchase the vaccine for its implementation. Is going
The Health Minister said that in view of the increasing number of Corona patients in the state, a part of Eye Hospital has been made Covid Hospital. Within 24 hours, the process of recruiting patients will start here. This hospital will have 115 beds, of which 84 will be oxygenated and 31 beds will be CCC, where corona curries will get facilities.
There is an ongoing work to increase beds
He said that while the number of beds is being increased in the hospitals of the state, new arrangements are also being made at a rapid pace. Work is also underway to increase 100 beds in IGIMS. NMCH has also been increased by 300 beds. Necessary action is being taken to increase beds in other hospitals as well. Apart from this, oxygen supply has also become normal in the state. Remedicivir injections will also be supplied in more quantity in one or two days.
