Payal Rohatgi is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend wrestler Sangram Singh. Payal and Sangram will get married on July 9 in Agra. In an exclusive conversation with News18, the Lock Upp runner-up revealed that their wedding will be a private ceremony which will be attended by only their close family members. Payal also shared that no industry friends or co-workers will be invited to the wedding to be held in Agra.
Payal Rohatgi said, “It is a very private family celebration – only his family and my family will remain. I want no friends to attend pre-wedding functions and weddings, only family, mine and his (Sangram’s).” He also revealed that he will host a reception party in Delhi on July 14 in which all his friends will be invited.
Payal Rohatgi said, “We are trying to ensure that we are with the family for the wedding and pre-wedding functions. After this we will invite everyone for the reception to be held in Delhi on July 14. The reception will take place in Delhi, but the wedding and pre-wedding will be limited to the family.”
Payal Rohatgi said, “At the reception in Delhi, everyone who knows us and wishes us all the best will be invited. From political leaders in Delhi to their friends, we plan to hold receptions in Mumbai as well. We are thinking about the date and place. In Delhi, all friends who know Sangram – and he knows many people – will all be invited.”
Payal will call Kangana Ranaut!
Asked if she would invite Bollywood actress and ‘Lock Upp’ host Kangana Ranaut as well, Payal said, “I will obviously make sure that I send an invitation to her sister Rangoli and if she is in Delhi. If I am, I would love to see her in the reception ceremony. She is lovely and I am lovely. This is a good opportunity and we should forget the past.”
