Kamal Nath raised questions
Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has raised questions on this program, referring to the flood situation. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath issued a statement on Friday saying that, “Many districts including Gwalior-Chambal division of the state are in the grip of severe floods, more than 1250 villages are still in the grip of this severe flood. Many people have lost their lives due to this flood, thousands of people are still trapped in this terrible flood. Road connectivity to many villages has been completely broken. Many small bridges and culverts have been washed away. Many roads, including the national highway of the area, have been uprooted, demolished. Many houses have been completely damaged, crops have been destroyed. There has been animal loss, all the household items of the people have been washed away in the water of this flood, the tears of the people are not stopping, everything of the people has been ruined.”
He further said that the state is in trouble and the Shivraj government is preparing to celebrate ‘Anna Mahotsav’ in a grand manner on 7th August in the state. Ration shops are being decorated with balloons, hoardings and posters are being put up in a grand manner, invitations are being distributed to the people, prabhat pheris are being taken out. The entire government is engaged in the preparations for this event. On the other hand, a large part of the state is in the grip of floods. Right now there is a need to save the lives of thousands of people trapped in the floods, to speed up the relief and rescue operations, to rebuild the infrastructure.
