REET 2021: Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra spoke to the Education Department regarding the REET exam

When the application window should be reopened to give the benefit of age relaxation to EWS category in Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) and what should be the new REET exam date, these issues were also discussed on Wednesday. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra held a meeting with the higher officials of the Education Department. He interacted with Saurabh Swamy, Director of the Board of Secondary Education and Aparna Arora, Principal Secretary, Government on various issues.

After the meeting, he tweeted, ‘Today, in the meeting of the Education Department held in the Secretariat, recognition of private educational institutions, REET examinations, recruitments under the court, responsibilities of staff coming to schools in the new session, various promotions in the department and computer teachers. There was discussion regarding recruitment.



16 candidates are waiting for the new date of Rajasthan REET 2020 exam. After the result of Rajasthan REET, the government will recruit third class teachers on 31 thousand posts.

With the benefit of EWS reservation in the REET exam, the number of applicants will increase further and the competition will become tougher. Male candidates of EWS category will get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit and 10 years for female candidates similar to other reserved categories. That is, those candidates of EWS category in the REET exam who could not apply earlier due to their age, they will now be able to apply.
