Rishabh Yadav of Gurugram, adjoining Delhi, won the bronze medal in the junior compound event of the World Archery Youth Championship held in Poland. In this match for the bronze medal, Rishabh defeated Garcia of Mexico.
Rishabh is the second archer to win a medal in this event. Apart from Rishabh in the compound event, Sajhi Chaudhary has won the silver medal.

This was the 16th edition of the World Archery Youth Championship, which was held between August 10-15. Apart from this, the Indian team has also performed brilliantly in the Under-20 and Under-18 of the junior event.
On the other hand, when it comes to medals by combining all the competitions, India remained on top. India won 15 medals in this youth championship with a total of 8 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze.
After India in the medal tally, France finished second with three gold, two silver and one bronze.
