Credited Dhoni for his own success
Chahar had recently said in an interview that his performance in the IPL was impossible without Dhoni. Chahar had said, ‘Mahi bhai has made me a powerplay bowler. He always says you are my powerplay bowler. He gives me the first over of the match most of the time. I have also benefited a lot from his guidance. It has helped me grow as a bowler. Dhoni knows his players very well and he uses them wisely. He knows who is good in the death overs, who is good in the powerplays.”
