ICC U19 World Cup : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the names of the hosts for the upcoming Under-19 World Cup. According to the official statement issued by the ICC, the next season i.e. 2024 will be hosted by Sri Lanka, while in 2026 Zimbabwe and Namibia will jointly host the tournament.
The ICC has handed over hosting rights to Malaysia, Thailand as well as Nepal and Bangladesh for separate Under-19 tournaments from 2024 to 2027. Malaysia and Thailand have been awarded the hosting rights of the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2025. While Bangladesh and Nepal have been named as the hosts of the tournament for 2027.

Talk about the ICC Under-19 World Cup, so far 14 seasons have been organized. In this, India has won the most five titles and is the most successful team. After that the Australian team is in second place with three titles. India won their fifth title this year by defeating England in the final and are currently the defending champions.
Explain that apart from the Under-19 World Cup tournament, the ICC has also announced the qualification process for the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup. 10 teams will get direct qualification for this tournament to be held among 14 teams. In these 10 teams, South Africa and Zimbabwe will get direct entry due to being hosts. While the other 8 teams will be taken from the ICC ODI rankings. At the same time, the ICC Global Qualifier Series will be played for the selection of four teams.
