Prayagraj: Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that preparations have to be made keeping in mind the possibility of the third wave of Corona. States have to become self-sufficient in terms of oxygen and other medical facilities. He requested Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and Minister Siddharth Nath Singh to make it mandatory for every district of the state to set up air oxygen plants in hospitals with more than 50 beds to make them self-reliant.

Nitin Gadkari was addressing the foundation stone laying program of Prabhaya Industries’ Oxygen Plant at Saraswati Hitech City, Naini, Prayagraj online from Delhi on Wednesday. During this, the minister said that there is a crisis of third wave and fourth wave in the coming time. It is necessary to work keeping this in mind. Along with this, it is necessary to see the status of oxygen cylinder bank in every district. If necessary, 4,000-5,000 cylinders should be included in the medical system of every district by the state government.

Cheap Injections of Red Fungus and Black Fungus

The minister said, “We have also made injections for red fungus and black fungus and today 10,000 injections are being given in Pune. We can also give these injections to Uttar Pradesh through the government. We made it for Rs 1250. In general, companies provide a ventilator here for Rs 4.50 lakh to Rs 6.50 lakh. Whereas, MSME of Visakhapatnam developed ventilator for Rs 1.48 lakh and 500 such ventilators have been distributed free of cost. On demand to Uttar Pradesh These ventilators can be made available for Rs 1.48 lakh.”

While addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that during the second wave of Corona, the state government made a lot of efforts in various types of crisis. The government is making preparations for that there should be no such crisis in future. State Khadi and Village Industries Minister Siddharth Nath Singh said that 416 new oxygen plants of different sizes are being set up in the state to meet the shortage of oxygen. Due to this, the capacity of oxygen production will double in the coming four to five months.
