Lucknow, August 18. Due to the second wave of corona virus, the UP Board had canceled the 10th and 12th examinations. The results of the students have been announced a few weeks back, due to which some students are not satisfied with their mark sheets. There is also an option for such students to take a written test, for which the time table has been issued by the UP Board. Interested students of class 10th and 12th can apply for the written examinations till August 27, 2021.
Significantly, in the second wave of corona virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting on the board examinations, after which the CBSE board exams were canceled. After this, the UP Board also announced that the 10th and 12th board exams have been cancelled. The numbers were given to the students on the basis of the UP Board formula. For the students who are dissatisfied with their mark sheet, now the written examination will be conducted whose date sheet has been released. The result of the written examination will be released in the session of the year 2020-21 itself.
According to the time table released by the UP Board, the 10th and 12th board examinations will be conducted from 18 September to 6 October. A target has been set to finish the high school examinations within 12 days and intermediate examinations in 15 days. An order in this regard has also been issued by the Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary Education. Please note that students will not have to pay any fee for appearing in these examinations. Apart from this, the exam will be of only 2 hours instead of 3 hours. For this, the number of questions in the question paper has also been kept less.
