UP Schools Reopen News: In Uttar Pradesh, schools from class 9 to 12 will open once again from August 16. CM Yogi has taken this decision after brainstorming in the meeting of Team 9. Deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma told that at present the school will run in 2 shifts with 50 percent capacity. There will be two shifts of 4 hours each per day. At the same time, offline classes for UG and PG second year in universities and degree colleges will be conducted from 16 August, first year classes will be conducted from 1 September and all other classes will be conducted from 13 September. The education till class 8th will be conducted online for the time being.
Covid guidelines have to be followed
The operation of educational institutions will be according to the Covid guidelines. In view of the start of offline studies in educational institutions, instructions have been given for proper arrangement of sanitizers, infrared thermometers and masks. Apart from this, social distancing will also have to be maintained in the classes. Dr Dinesh Sharma told that all the board results of 10th and 12th have come. In such a situation, admissions for graduation will start from August 5 in all universities and degree colleges. The decision whether the university will take admission on merit or through entrance examination has been left to the Vice-Chancellor. With the opening of educational institutions, special camps will be organized for the vaccination of students above the age of 18 years. For this, instructions have been given to the Health Department for necessary preparations.
Will not pressurize about attendance
There is also something in this decision to open the school which can also become a problem for the students and parents. The Deputy CM said that the students will be called with the consent of the parents. There will be instructions to the schools that they will not pressurize the attendance. But, at the same time, he also said that there will be no compulsion from the department regarding online classes in class 9 to 12. That is, it is up to the school college to run classes both online and offline or only offline. In such a situation, the biggest question is that if a school does not give the option of online class, then the wishes of the students will not work, but they will have to come to study.
Deputy CM spoke to the officials
After the decision to open the school in Team 9, Deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma also did video conferencing with DMs and other officials of all the districts. Dr Dinesh said that instructions have been given to all the DMs that whatever educational institutions want to organize vaccination camps, they should be helped. During this, there was also a discussion on the conduct of Joint Entrance Examination of BEd to be held on 6th August. Around 6 lakh candidates are registered for the entrance exam. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, ADG LO Prashant Kumar were also present in the video conferencing along with the Deputy CM and officials of the Education Department.
