ZyCoV-D Vaccine Emergency Approval: Another weapon has been found in the war against the corona epidemic in India. Zydus Cadila’s vaccine ZyCoV-D has been given emergency use by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) on Friday.
The Ministry of Science and Technology said that this is the world’s and India’s first such indigenous vaccine, which is a vaccine based on DNA. This vaccine will be administered to all people, including children and adults aged 12 years and above.

Anti – Covid vaccine for children will be available ‘very soon’
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday that the results of ongoing research on the Kovid-19 vaccine being developed for children could come next month and the vaccine could be available “very soon”. He said that the Center is committed to vaccinate every citizen of the country against the corona virus.
Mandaviya said in Rajkot, ‘Our aim is to vaccinate every citizen. The Government of India has already given permission to Zydus Cadila and Bharat Biotech to conduct research to develop a Kovid-19 vaccine for children. We are expecting the results of his research to come out next month. I am sure that vaccines for children will be available very soon.
AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria had said that the data for Phase II and III trials of Bharat Biotech’s covaccine between the age group of two to 18 years can come by September.
