The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the online application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2021 Exam from today. The AFCAT 2021 Exam is conducted twice a year for the recruitment of officers in the Indian Air Force. It is a computer-based test that will be conducted in two stages – the written exam and the Interview round. The AFCAT 2021 Exam is scheduled to be held on the 9th and 10th of January 2021. Introduction to AFCAT 2 Exam
AFCAT is a national-level exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the recruitment of officers in the Indian Air Force. It is conducted twice a year and the AFCAT 2021 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on the 9th and 10th of January 2021. The exam is conducted in two stages – the written exam and the Interview round. Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the Interview round.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the AFCAT 2021 Exam must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
- Candidates must reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam to complete the registration formalities.
- Candidates must not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, etc. to the exam centre.
- Candidates must follow all the instructions given by the invigilator at the exam centre.
- Candidates must not indulge in any kind of malpractice or cheating as it is a punishable offence.
Preparation Tips
- Candidates must go through the syllabus and exam pattern thoroughly to understand the structure of the exam.
- Candidates must practice mock tests and sample papers to get an idea of the type of questions asked in the exam.
- Candidates must attempt the practice tests in a timed manner to understand the time management required to complete the exam.
- Candidates must solve previous year question papers to get an idea of the difficulty level of the exam.
- Candidates must stay updated with the current affairs related to the exam.
Exam Syllabus
The AFCAT 2021 Exam will be conducted in two stages – the written exam and the Interview round. The written exam consists of three sections – General Awareness, Verbal Ability & Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
