Anil Kapoor wrote an emotional post after daughter Riya’s marriage, told his family – Blockbuster

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor on Monday shared a social media post in which he described his family as the “biggest blockbuster ever”. He recently posted a picture from daughter Rhea’s wedding. Anil also shared a family photo on his Instagram handle, featuring his wife Sunita Kapoor, daughters Sonam and Rhea, sons-in-law Anand Ahuja and Karan Boolani and son Harshvardhan Kapoor.

In the caption of the post, he wrote, “And with this, I feel like my magnum opus (life’s purpose) has been accomplished. With our 2 super- daughters and 3 super-sons, we have the biggest ever.” Big blockbuster! Our family is blessed.”



Anil’s daughter and filmmaker Rhea Kapoor married her longtime boyfriend Karan Boolani on Saturday night at a private event at her father’s Juhu bungalow in the presence of some family members.

After her wedding, Rhea shared a beautiful picture from her wedding with Karan and wrote in a note “12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you are my best friend and the best man I have ever lived. But I cried and shook and bloated all the way because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I will always be the girl who had to come home to Juhu at 11 pm before my parents went to sleep. Only now I don’t Knew how lucky I am. I hope we make a family so close that we will have many loves in our lives. I have Karan Boolani, Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor love forever have taken.

Riya is one of the three children of Anil and Sunita Kapoor, including Sonam and Harshvardhan. She is also the niece of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and has co-produced three Sonam starrer films ‘Aisha’, ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’.

Riya reportedly fell in love with Karan Boolani while they were shooting for ‘Aisha’ on the sets of the film, and since then the relationship only grew stronger.
