AP Schools Holiday On 27th August : Good news for school students in AP. A holiday has been declared for schools on Saturday (August 27). It is known that schools functioned on the second Saturday of this month (August 13) as part of the Azadika Amrit Mahotsav. Instead, the school education department has issued orders to give a holiday on the fourth Saturday (August 27).

Schools worked on the second Saturday of this month to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit festival. As schools and other educational institutions work on a holiday, the 27th can be considered as a holiday instead, the order said. Commissioner K. Suresh Kumar has issued a circular to this effect. As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the state government has taken up many programs. National flags were hoisted on the houses in every village.

Moreover, on this occasion, programs like dance, music, rallies, painting, group discussions and uploading selfies with national flags were organized in the schools of the state till the 15th of this month. That is why the education department has declared August 13 as a working day. Now 27th August has been declared as a holiday instead.
