The soon to be released Punjabi drama ‘Bajre Da Sitta’ is an example of this. When the film was announced, it looked like a normal romantic comedy, however as soon as its trailer came out today, it took everyone by surprise.
This drama talks about 70-80s. This period drama starring Tania, Amy Virk and Noor Chahal is about small hearts dreaming big. Tania and her sister Noor Chahal are blessed with good songs that attract a company owner. He wants permission from the girl’s family to record her voice.

The family agrees, but this story is from a time when people did not have such a progressive outlook, girls singing was not considered good in the society. People started criticizing the girls and their families. Amidst all this, there comes a time when Tania receives a marriage proposal from Amy Virk and the fate of her singing career falls in her hands. Amy doesn’t want his wife to sing. He doesn’t even let her sing in the house and warns her that if she ever tries to sing again, he will drop her off at her parents’ house.

Amy Virk and Tania have always been seen as the perfect couple on screen. His acting in the trailer has impressed everyone. Also, Noor Chahal is making her acting debut with the film. The film also stars Guggu Gill, Seema Kaushal, Nirmal Rishi and BN Sharma. Apart from these, actors like Hobby Dhaliwal, Tarsem Paul, Gurpreet Bhangu, Rupinder Rupi are also associated with the film. ‘Bajre Da Sitta’, written and directed by Jas Grewal, will release on July 15.
