Bajrang Punia Exclusive Interview: Wrestler Bajrang Punia, who won the country’s bronze medal in wrestling in Tokyo Olympics 2020, told in a special conversation with ABP News sports correspondent Kuntal Chakraborty that he could not sleep through the night after losing the semi-final match.

In an interview to ABP News, Bajrang Punia said that he wants to start preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics from a few days and his goal is to bring gold medal in 2024.
Let us tell you that Bajrang Punia was training in Russia before the start of the Olympics and he suffered a knee injury during practice. After this, he had problems in training for a few days. Through the advanced recovery system, Bajrang tried to recover from the injury as soon as possible. But by then the Olympics had started and with the injury, Bajrang had to land on the mat.
After reaching the semi-finals after winning the first two matches, he was defeated against a wrestler from Kyrgyzstan. However, Bajrang Punia won the bronze medal after winning the next match.
However, Bajrang Punia is not happy even after winning the bronze medal. Because he had prepared for gold only. And this preparation will now last for the next three years i.e. till 2024.
